The Victoria Quarter was Leeds’ premium but small shopping destination. Hammerson wanted to add to the offer with a luxurious complementary development to capitalise on an affluent audience.
‘The fabric of Leeds’ was the foundation of a brand that reflects the importance of high fashion in Leeds culture while playing on the rich expertise in fabric and textile manufacture in the region. The old and new shopping areas were brought together under one destination name, Victoria, retaining the inherent value and giving the whole area a premium personality.
